How to Use RRingo

From sign-up to your first Full House in five minutes. Prefer to watch? See all the videos.

1. Sign up

  1. Open RRingo on iOS, Android, or at rringo.web.app.
  2. Tap Sign Up. Enter your email and a password, or sign in with Google / Apple.
  3. That's it — RRingo is free to play, with no payment details to enter.
  4. Set up your display name and (optional) avatar. These are what other players in your groups see.

2. Join or create a group

RRingo games happen inside groups — your family, your office, your community circle, etc.

  • To join: tap a rringo.web.app/g/CODE link your friend sent — it opens straight into RRingo on iOS and Android. Or paste an invite code into Groups → Join Group.
  • To create: tap + on the Groups screen, give the group a name and (optional) avatar, and invite members by share link, email, or invite code.

3. Grab tickets for a game

  1. Open your group. Upcoming games appear at the top.
  2. Pick a game. You'll see the prize-share split (Early Five, Lines, Four Corners, Full House), the organiser, and the scheduled start time.
  3. Tap Get Tickets and choose how many you want — they're free. The server generates real Tambola tickets (3 rows × 9 columns, 15 numbers each, no duplicates within a strip).
  4. Your tickets appear in My Tickets, ready for the game to start.

4. Play live

  1. When the organiser starts the game, the live game screen opens automatically. The current number, the called-numbers board, and all your tickets are visible.
  2. As the organiser calls numbers, they are auto-marked on every ticket in real time. You don't have to do anything.
  3. When you spot a winning combo on one of your tickets, tap the combo's Claim button. The server validates instantly — if you're the first valid claim, the win is recorded and you're on the leaderboard.
  4. The game continues until the Full House combo is won (and any unwon combos may be rolled into Full House per the organiser's rules).

5. Win combos

RRingo supports the classic Housie combos:

  • Early Five — the first player to mark any five numbers on a ticket.
  • Top Line, Middle Line, Bottom Line — all five numbers on the corresponding ticket row.
  • Four Corners — the top-leftmost, top-rightmost, bottom-leftmost, and bottom-rightmost numbers on a ticket.
  • Full House — all 15 numbers on a ticket.

Organisers can configure the prize-share split between combos on a per-game basis — free, on every game. Custom prize-split themes are coming with the paid hosting tiers.

6. Try the other modes

  • Music mode — instead of numbers, the organiser plays clips. Each cell on your ticket is a song title; mark off the songs as they play. Perfect for parties and birthdays.
  • Movies mode — same idea, but with movie clips. Tickets have movie titles instead of numbers.
  • Sports mode — iconic sporting moments fill the grid. Great for matchday parties and league nights.
  • Guess mode — flip on the "Guess the song / movie" toggle and any Music or Movies game becomes a quiz. Each clip plays with its name hidden and everyone races to tap the right title before it's revealed. The fastest correct guess wins the round; when the clip finishes its name shows and your ticket marks. It's bragging rights only — it never affects your tickets or prizes — and the end-of-game results show everyone's right and wrong tally.

7. Track your wins

  • Every validated claim is recorded against your profile and the game's leaderboard.
  • Your stats — tickets played, combos won, and prize shares — are on the home screen.
  • Climb the all-time, monthly, and weekly leaderboards, build daily streaks, and unlock badges.
  • Turn any win into a shareable card for WhatsApp or socials — bragging rights, built in.

8. Organise your own game

  1. From your group's home, tap + and choose Create Game.
  2. Pick the mode (Numbers, Music, Movies, or Sports), the maximum tickets per player, the start time, and the prize-share split.
  3. Publish the game so members can grab their tickets.
  4. When you're ready, tap Start Game. RRingo handles the draws — you just hit Call Next Number at the pace you like.
  5. The game ends when all configured combos have been won.
