Our story
Housie nights are some of our favourite memories — long evenings with family, neighbours, and friends, the ticket strips passed around, the caller spinning numbers, the shout of "Full House!" at the end. When everyone moved online, the magic got harder to recreate. Group video calls don't quite fit. Existing apps were either single-player against bots, or sketchy money-only platforms with no thought for community play.
We built RRingo because we wanted the real thing — live, multiplayer, free, fair, and friendly. A platform where a community organiser can run a game for 30 friends on a Saturday evening, and where everyone who joins knows the prize shares are computed transparently and the winning combo is awarded server-side, atomically, the moment they claim it. No money changes hands — it's all for the fun of the game.
What makes RRingo different
- Real multiplayer. Every player in the same game sees the same number at the same time. No client-side draws.
- Provably fair. Numbers come from a server-shuffled pool; every call is recorded in an immutable game-event log.
- Free & friendly by default. No real money, no deposits, no gambling — just social play, with fairness and good sportsmanship baked in.
- Built for the community organiser. Group tooling, ticket generation, prize-share splits, and an auditable game-event log — all in one app.
- Cross-platform. Native iOS and Android, plus the web app at rringo.web.app. Your tickets, wins, and history sync everywhere.
Technology
RRingo is built with Flutter (iOS, Android, Web, and macOS later) and Supabase (PostgreSQL, Realtime, Auth, and Edge Functions). All draws and all claim validation run server-side. The client is a beautiful, fast view into a backend that is the only source of truth.
The team
RRingo is built by a small team of engineers and designers who love the game and care deeply about fair, friendly play. We are currently in private beta; we will share more about the team and our backing as we approach public launch.
